چکیده
Broadband Optoelectronic Synapses In article number 2302885, Jia Huang, Jianhua Zhang, Lize Xiong, and co-workers report retina-inspired optoelectronic synaptic transistors that present broadband responses. Simplified neuromorphic visual systems are developed to simulate comprehensive image perception, memory, preprocessing functions in a wide wavelength range from ultraviolet near-infrared, even beyond the sensing of human system.

a new type-ii fuzzy logic based controller for non-linear dynamical systems with application to 3-psp parallel robot
abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

The parallel updating scheme of RRAM-based analog neuromorphic systems based on sign stochastic gradient descent (SGD) can dramatically accelerate the training of neural networks. However, sign SGD can decrease accuracy. Also, some non-ideal factors of RRAM devices, such as intrinsic variations and the quantity of intermediate states, may significantly damage their convergence. In this paper, w...
متن کاملNeuromorphic computing with multi-memristive synapses
Brain-inspired neuromorphic computing has recently emerged as a promising avenue towards building the next generation of intelligent computing systems. It has been proposed that memristive devices, which exhibit history-dependent conductivity modulation, could be used to efficiently represent the strength of synaptic connections between the neuronal nodes in neural networks. However, precise mo...
متن کاملMetamaterials: Snapping Mechanical Metamaterials under Tension (Adv. Mater. 39/2015).
By exploiting snap-through instabilities, D. Pasini and co-workers design a damage-tolerant mechanical metamaterial that snaps sequentially under tension, thereby accommodating a very large deformation up to 150%. On page 5931, they describe how the nonlinear mechanical response of the metamaterial can be robustly programmed by tuning the architecture of its unit cell.
